CIB: Turkish Steel Exports To Drop 40% Year-on-year in 2023

Adnan Aslan, chairman of the Turkish Iron and Steel Exporters Association (CIB), pointed out that Romania is Turkey's largest export market after Israel, of which steel products account for 18% and the export value is about 1.3 billion US dollars. Meanwhile, Aslan said he wanted the figure to drop to 15 percent by 2023. In addition, he believes that due to high energy prices, Turkey has lost its price advantage, and Turkey's steel exports will decrease by 40% year-on-year this year.
